Milford M. Gabioud, age 90, of Argyle, WI. Passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Monroe Clinic Hospice Home. He was born December 31, 1929, the son of Maurice and Marie (Moret) Gabioud in Argyle. He grew up in rural Argyle and attended Everson Country School and Blanchardville High School until ninth grade when he began farming with his father. Milford was united in marriage to Delores E. Dammen on May 6, 1950 at Saint Michaels Catholic Church in rural Blanchardville, WI.  After their marriage, Milford and Delores started farming and raising their family in rural Argyle.

He is survived by four children: Joanne (John) Dunlavy of rural Blanchardville, David (Lori) Gabioud of rural Darlington, Marie (Jeff) Wunschel of Monroe, and John (Kris) Gabioud of rural Blanchardville. Twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Milford is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Delores Gabioud in 2015; two sisters: Ruth Motz and Sarah Johnson; three brothers-in-law; Joe Motz, Richard Johnson and Merlin Dammen; Two sisters-in-law; Sylvia Badertscher and Angie Dammen; two grandchildren: Devon Gabioud in 1993 and Bryant Gabioud in 2007; Three great-grandchildren; Travis Dunlavy Santoro, Amelia Josephs and Micah Josephs.

Milford was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Argyle. His favorite activity was farming, he worked hard and loved it. He enjoyed woodworking after he retired from farming. His family was his greatest gift and he cherished the time he spent with them. Milford with his kind heart and sweet spirit will be sorely missed by many.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Argyle with Rev. Tom Gillespie officiating. (213 North Lafayette Street, Argyle 53504).  A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM at the church. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery following the service. The Erickson Funeral Home of Darlington is assisting the family.
