Henry “Hank” Paul Frankowski, age 85 of Monroe went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Aster Assisted Living.  He was born on February 12, 1937 the son of Henry and Harriet (Naruszcwicz) Frankowski.  He graduated from Lane Tech High School.  After high school Hank was a member of the National Guard for a few years.  He married Marcene “Marcia” Brester on September 19, 1959 at Our Lady of Grace Church in Chicago. 

Hank worked at Admiral Corporation, Data Documents; Bradley Printing, and Family Fresh Pack retiring in 2012.  He was a member of St. Victor’s Catholic Church.  He enjoyed drawing, classic cars, building model boats, singing, being on the lake.  Always ready with a joke, Hank thought of himself as a comedian. 

Hank is survived by his wife, Marcia and their children, Eileen (Kevin) Miller of Richmond, IL, Cheryl (Timothy) Knox of Monroe, Timothy (Robin) Frankowski of Monticello, and Liane (David) Bauer of McHenry, IL; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Robert, Steven, Morgan, James, Emily, Alexis, Olivia, and Jack; and four great-grandchildren, Sylas, Bowen, Abigail, and Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and three sisters.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church with Monsignor Steve Knox officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery. 

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com
