WCG acquires Swiss Heritage

MONTICELLO — Wisconsin Cheese Group LLC, also known as WCG, acquired Swiss Heritage Inc., a Hispanic cheese manufacturer with its facility in Monticello.

Swiss Heritage Inc. manufactures, markets and distributes a variety of Hispanic cheeses in the United States and currently employs approximately 30 people.

The acquisition of Swiss Heritage Inc. will enable WCG to increase its offering of cheeses and will fold perfectly into an existing portfolio of Hispanic foods through sister companies: Reynaldo’s Mexican Foods LLC and Lisy-El Chilar LLC.

Wisconsin Cheese Group is located in Monroe and manufactures, markets and distributes a wide array of quality, specialty cheeses and traditional Hispanic food products, including: cheese, probiotic beverages, chorizos, desserts, spices and peppers. 

Wisconsin Cheese Group is one of the leading manufacturers of Hispanic products sold throughout the U.S. under well-known brand names such as El Viajero, Bio Salud!, La Morenita, Reynaldo’s, Wisconsin Farms, Lisy, Orale, El Chilar and Queseria Caribe. Wisconsin Cheese Group LLC is privately held by Huff Hispanic Food Holdings LLC.
