Hospital reports he is in fair condition after crash
motorcycle accident

TOWN OF WAYNE — A Lafayette County man was not wearing a helmet when he crashed his motorcycle west of South Wayne Sept. 27, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office.

Dusty R. A. Weber, 29, South Wayne, was airlifted by MedFlight helicopter to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison for treatment.

The sheriff's office described his injuries as "severe." The morning after the accident, a UW Hospital spokesperson said Weber's condition was fair.

The crash was reported shortly before 6 p.m. Sept. 27 on Larse Road, Town of Wayne. Green County EMS, South Wayne First Response and the South Wayne Fire Department responded with deputies.

Weber was northbound when he lost control of the 1998 Honda, causing it to leave the road and enter the east ditch, then re-enter the road, overcorrect and come to rest in the west ditch.
