MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 4:17 p.m. Feb. 9 on 6th Avenue West and 7th Street West. Mary A. Riggs, 62, Darlington, was northbound on 6th Ave. W. when she failed to stop for a red light and hit another vehicle traveling through the intersection. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. She was cited for failing to stop at the red traffic signal. 

On Feb. 12: 

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 8:03 a.m. on 18th Avenue North and Wis. 11. Anthony R. Floerke, 28, Stockton, Illinois, exited off the eastbound ramp of Wis. 11 on to 18th Avenue North and hit a southbound vehicle on 18th Avenue North operated by a 34-year-old Brodhead woman. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Floerke was cited for driving while suspended. 

●  No injuries were reported from a three-vehicle crash at 8:31 a.m. on 18th Avenue North and Wis. 11. Patricia M. Lohr, 72, Freeport, was eastbound on the off ramp from Wis. 11 and collided with a stopped vehicle on the off ramp operated by a 21-year-old Dubuque, Iowa, woman. The impact then pushed her vehicle into the path of a southbound vehicle on 18th Avenue North operated by a 32-year-old Monroe man. Lohr’s vehicle sustained moderate damage. The other two vehicles sustained severe damage. They were towed. Lohr was cited for driving too fast for conditions. 

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 11:32 a.m. on 6th Street and 22nd Avenue. Charles A. Hartwig, 36, Monroe, was westbound on 6th Street, entered the intersection at 22nd Avenue and collided with a northbound vehicle operated by a 16-year-old Monroe man. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. The vehicle operated by the 16-year-old was towed. Hartwig was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 2:34 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 1800 block of 13th Avenue. Kelsey T. E. Vavra, 26, Monroe, was backing up and collided with a southbound vehicle operated by a 70-year-old Monroe man. Vavra’s vehicle sustained functional damage. The other vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Vavra was cited for driving after revocation.


Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle rollover crash at 7:29 a.m. Feb. 10 in the W6600 block of Patterson Road, Town of Clarno. Logan O. Clark, 18, South Wayne, was eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve. He entered the south ditch and overturned. His vehicle sustained functional damage. He was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control. 

On Feb. 11: 

●  No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle rollover crash at 8:18 p.m. on County E and Wis. 92, Town of Brooklyn. Robert P. Clark, 44, Madison, was northbound on County E and slid through the intersection at Wis. 92 due to the snow-covered road surface. He entered the ditch and overturned. His vehicle sustained disabling damage with air bag deployment. It was towed. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions. 

●  No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 8:37 p.m. in the N5500 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington. Michael J. Mott, 62, New Glarus, was northbound when he exited the roadway, entered the ditch and collided with a snowbank. His vehicle sustained damage. It was towed.  

On Feb. 12: 

●  No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 8:17 a.m. in the N6400 block of Center Road, Town of Washington. Breanna A. Nesheim, 21, Belleville, was northbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to snow-covered road conditions. She entered the ditch and came to rest against trees. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage. It was towed. 

●  No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 10:15 a.m. on Wis. 92 and County W, Town of Exeter. Maureen M. Hellenbrand-Welzien, 61, Verona, was southbound on Wis. 92 when she lost control of her vehicle due to slick conditions. She entered the south ditch at the intersection with County W and overturned. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. 

●  No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 10:57 a.m. in the N1400 block of Twin Grove Road, Town of Jefferson. James A. Wyss, 37, Juda, was southbound when he lost sight of the road due to weather conditions and exited the roadway and overturned. His vehicle sustained minor damage. It was towed. 

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 3:18 p.m. in the W6600 block of Vogel Road, Town of Monroe. Virgilio Ocampo Jimenez, 46, Monroe, was plowing snow across the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle operated by Joseph W. Cook, 24, Monroe, who was unable to avoid the collision. Jimenez’s vehicle sustained minor damage. Cook’s vehicle sustained minor damage. It was removed. Jimenez was cited for driving without a valid license. 

●  Jared A. Haring, 22, Platteville, was transported by Brodhead EMS for medical evaluation of injuries sustained from a single-vehicle crash at 10:11 p.m. in the W2100 block of County SS, Town of Decatur. He was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, exiting the roadway and hit a fence. His vehicle sustained moderate damage. It was towed.
