MONROE — On Monday, Dec. 9:
● Officers responded at 11:29 a.m. to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries. Evelyn M. Mitchell, 53, Monroe, turned onto West 21st Street from 4th Avenue West and collided with a vehicle on West 21st Street driven by a 77-year-old Monroe woman. The vehicles sustained moderate damage. Mitchell was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign and no vehicle insurance.
● Officers responded at 2:29 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries. Thomas D. Zielinski, 67, Monroe, turned onto 8th Street from 8th Avenue and collided with a westbound vehicle on 8th Street driven by Teagan A. Cornell, 25, Wauzeka. The vehicles sustained minor damage. Zielinski was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign. Cornell was cited for no vehicle insurance.

MONROE — On Monday, Dec. 9:
● Michael A. Welchel, 52, Albany, reported injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 12:25 a.m. in the Town of Mount Pleasant. He was southbound on County D approaching the W3100 block of County C when his brakes failed, causing him to go through the intersection and go off the road. He was transported from the scene by Albany EMS. The vehicle sustained moderate damage. It was towed. The Monticello Fire Department assisted on scene.
● Cecilia Carrillo, 44, and her passenger Jose A. Delorosa Garcia, 54, both of Beloit, reported no injuries at 6:22 a.m. after her vehicle had a mechanical failure and became disabled in the roadway in the W2600 block of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson. The vehicle sustained minor damage. It was towed. Carrillo was cited for driving with a revoked license (revocation due to an alcohol- or drug-related offense), no vehicle insurance and obstructing law enforcement. Delorosa Garcia was cited for obstructing law enforcement.
● Kyle J. Richards, 31, Baraboo, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 8:24 a.m. in the W2300 block of County EE, Town of Albany. He was eastbound when he lost control due to mud on the road and entered the ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
On Tuesday, Dec. 10:
● A two-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported at 4:56 p.m. in the Town of New Glarus. Mary K. Hartlich, 39, New Glarus, was at the intersection of Old Madison Road and County O when she turned onto County O in front of a vehicle driven by Joseph M. Kempfer, 36, Belleville. The vehicles sustained minor damage. Hartlich was cited for no insurance.

DARLINGTON — On Friday, Nov. 22:
● A deputy came upon a one-vehicle crash at 10:28 p.m. on Roaster Road, Town of Benton. Jessica M. Elliott, 29, Shullsburg, was eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve causing her vehicle to leave the road, strike a road sign and come to rest in an embankment. No injuries were reported. The 2003 Saturn sustained moderate damage. It was towed. Elliott was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and cited for open intoxicants and obstructing an officer. She was released to a responsible party. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted on scene.
On Saturday, Nov. 23:
● Terry L. Redfearn, 54, Hazel Green, reported hitting a deer at 5:57 a.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings. The 2017 Dodge sustained minor damage.
● Bobbi J. Niedziejko, 39, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 6:25 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. The 2008 Chrysler sustained minor damage.
● Gary J. Jenkins, 54, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 6:32 a.m. on County D, Town of Argyle. The 2013 Ford had minor damage.
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 1:07 p.m. on Easy Street in Benton. Carol L. Hoeper, 76, Benton, lost control of her 2010 Chevrolet, causing the vehicle to go off the road and hit a pole. It sustained minor damage and was towed.
● Charles R. Hanson, Hazel Green, reported hitting a deer at 5:28 p.m. on Dunbarton Road, Town of Gratiot. His 2016 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.
On Sunday, Nov. 24:
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 9:16 a.m. on County F, Town of Darlington. Mauricio Agapito-Canales, 52, Darlington, was eastbound negotiating a curve when he hit back ice and lost control of his 1999 Toyota, causing it to cross the centerline and hit a 2019 Toyota driven by Wade T. Van Harpen, 42, Port Washington. Agapito-Canales’ vehicle then went into the north ditch. He was cited for driving without a valid license. His vehicle was towed. Van Harpen’s vehicle was driven from the scene. The Darlington Fire Department, Darlington police and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted deputies on scene.
● Delmer F. Alvarez, 25, Darlington, was taken to a hospital by Green County EMS of Darlington for injuries he sustained in a rollover crash reported at 9:31 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. He was southbound when he lost control on a curve due to slippery road conditions. The 2001 Chevrolet crossed the road, entered the ditch, hit an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its top. Alvarez was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to maintain control. The Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed. The Darlington Fire and Police Departments assisted a deputy on scene.
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 5:45 p.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard. Joshua V. Linder-Reagan, 33, Appleton, failed to negotiate a curve. His 2006 From went into the ditch. It sustained minor damage.
On Monday, Nov. 25:
● Rhonda K. Yeazle, 48, Dodgeville, reported hitting a deer at 4:59 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Her 2016 Nissan sustained moderate damage and was towed. Darlington police assisted.
● Susan Doyle-Wand, 48, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 5:50 p.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg. Her 2014 Jeep sustained minor damage.
● Darcy A. Evans, 50, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 6:08 p.m. on County O, Town of Willow Springs. The 2014 For sustained minor damage.
● Amy L. Wood, 38, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 9:22 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Her 2015 Nissan sustained minor damage.
On Tuesday, Nov. 26:
● A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at 11:58 a.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne. Nicholas P. Whitcomb, 17, Gratiot, had a 2014 Volkswagen owned by Peter A. Whitcomb, 50, Gratiot, parked in a lot. Brady J. Hagen, 18, Woodford, backed a 2006 Dodge into Whitcomb’s Volkswagen. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
