BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - A 50-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 9:35 a.m. Nov. 6 for unsafe backing of a vehicle after a traffic crash in the 900 block of West Exchange Street.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported after Helen M. Rabe, 58, Brodhead, struck a deer in the W2600 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Jefferson.

• No injuries were reported after Jaika D. Lavell, Mount Horeb, struck a deer in the W8800 block of Wis. 39, Town of York.

• No injuries were reported after Randall L. Paulson, 49, Hilbert, struck a deer in the N6900 block of County A, Town of Adams.

On Saturday:

• A driver was injured at 11:33 a.m. after Christina A. Bear, 49, Monroe, rear-ended the vehicle of Caden M. Raders, 20, Lena, Illinois, in the N5300 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington. Bear was injured and was transported to a local hospital. She was also cited for inattentive driving, driving without proof of vehicle insurance and a seatbelt violation. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

• A passenger was hospitalized at 11:54 a.m. after Thomas B. Brand, 55, Peoria, Illinois, rear-ended the vehicle of Amy L. Paulson, 46, Verona, in the N5500 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington. Neither driver was injured, but a passenger in Paulson's vehicle, Patricia A. Paulson, 69, Monticello, was hospitalized after a medical reaction to the crash. Brand was cited for following too closely. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported after Randall A. McDuffee, 37, Freeport, struck a deer in the W8500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz.

• No injuries were reported after David H. Prindle, 43, Brodhead, struck a deer in the N1400 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at midnight after Tess E. Zettle, 24, Juda, fell asleep while driving and drove into a creek in the N1500 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from scene.

• No injuries were reported after Wendy J. Martin, 61, Chili, struck a deer in the N4300 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester.

• No injuries were reported after Jean A. Chapman, 55, New Glarus, struck a deer in the W7900 block of County C, Town of Adams.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:20 a.m. after Lynn R. McGranahan, 63, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 2:56 p.m. after Paul T. Richardson, 47, Belmont, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 4:08 a.m. after Daniel R. Martin, 53, Gratiot, struck a deer on County K, Town of Darlington. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:20 a.m. after Dean A. Jorgenson, 70, South Wayne, struck a deer on County N, Town of Wiota. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8:10 p.m. after James A. Melton, 53, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 12:50 a.m. after Terry E. Edge Jr., 27, Darlington, swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle and entered a ditch on County G. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:11 p.m. after Edwin R. Weaver, 75, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:52 p.m. after Kerri J. Hauenstein, 18, Greenfield, struck a deer on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 11:23 p.m. after Carrie A. Schaar, 34, Shullsburg, struck a deer on County E, Town of Darlington. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
