New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Saturday on Kubly Road near Elmer Road. Police report a vehicle driven by Rex G. Barrett, 57, Roselle, Ill., left the road and overturned. Barrett sustained an arm injury and was taken to Monroe Clinic. His vehicle received extensive damages.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday on County H and Hay Hollow road. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Kenneth R. Weber, 42, Kirkland, Ill., failed to negotiate a curve and went into a ditch. Weber was thrown from the vehicle. He was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. The motorcycle received extensive damage and was towed.

• One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 11:15 a.m. Saturday in the W6700 block of County J in Adams township. A motorcycle driven by Alan A. Macphail, 53, Evanston, Ill., left the road. Macphail sustained injuries and was taken to Monroe Clinic. The motorcycle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Colt C. Gilbertson, 24, Blanchardville, collided with two deer at about 2 a.m. Sunday in the W7100 block of Wis. 81. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A vehicle driven by MarriBeth A. Wick, 42, Gratiot, hit a deer at about 6 a.m. Saturday on Wicks Road in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Bronson H. Ubersox, 18, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 in Wayne township. The vehicle received moderate damages.
