Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10 a.m. Sunday at a parking lot in the 700 block of 10th Avenue Court. Police report a vehicle driven by Juan Rodriguez Aguirre, 36, Monroe, collided with a building. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - At about 3 p.m. Sunday, deputies spoke with a driver in the City of Monroe, who had been involved in a one-vehicle accident. Deputies report, Jodie Edgar, 31, Monroe, was traveling west in the 5200 block of Wis. 59, in the Town of Albany, when another vehicle traveling east on Wis. 59 crossed over the centerline. Edgar took evasive action and entered the ditch, causing minor front-end damage to her vehicle. Edgar was not injured. The vehicle was removed from the scene. The other vehicle that caused the crash was not located.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6 p.m. Sunday on County J near Grossen Road in the Town of Adams. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Thomas Stowe, 20, Freeport, Ill., was southbound on County J, when it hit a patch of ice on the roadway and Stowe lost control. The vehicle entered the ditch on the east side of the road. Stowe was not injured. A passenger in the vehicle, Ellen Klahn, 20, Monticello, complained of pain in her arm, but refused medical treatment. The vehicle received moderate damage to all sides and was towed from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Lafayette County Sheriff's Department, South Wayne First Responders, South Wayne Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 11 in the Village of South Wayne. Deputies report Anne Lutz, 58, Janesville, reported slowing to turn into a business, when a vehicle driven by Christopher Roberts, 21, Elkhorn, failed to yield and struck her. Roberts was issued a citation for following too closely. No further details are available.

• Deputies responded at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday to Wisconsin 151 in Belmont township for multiple vehicles in the ditch and multiple motor vehicle accidents due to icy road conditions, Belmont Fire Department assisted at the scene.

• Francie Fitzsimons, 21, Darlington, reported striking a deer at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Furnace Hill Road in Willow Springs township.

• Jayme Davis, 37, Darlington, reported striking a deer at about 1 p.m. Saturday on County G in Willow Springs township.

• Billie Reynolds, 60, Monroe, reported striking a deer at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 78 in Blanchard township.

• Jenna L. Leahy, 16, Darlington, reported striking a deer at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday on Dunbarton Road in Elk Grove township.

• Jeffrey R. Schuetz, 43, Darlington, reported striking a raccoon at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday on Red Rock Road in Darlington township.
