GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• Two drivers and two passengers were injured at 7:42 a.m. after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Wisconsin 11 and County GG, Town of Spring Grove. Marion E. House, 80, Monroe, rear-ended the vehicle of Kelly J. Wenger, 51, Brodhead, who had stopped at the intersection to make a turn. House was hospitalized for her injuries, as were Wenger and her two passengers, aged 10 and 13. Wenger was cited for a seatbelt violation and failure to have passenger seatbelts fastened. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Randy Whitson, 61, Freeport, struck a deer in the N1100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno.

• No injuries were reported after Tamara M. Schulte, 57, South Wayne, struck a deer in the N900 block of County HK, Town of Cadiz.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported at 4:56 p.m. after James C. Mohns, 54, Brodhead, struck a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:15 p.m. after Melissa K. Bridges, 36, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 10:15 p.m. after Ray W. Voltz, 43, South Wayne, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
