MONROE - Laura A. Goodman, 47, Monroe, was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and hit-and-run on property adjacent to the highway after police investigated a hit-and-run accident involving a street sign in the 2000 block of 4th Street at 12:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Brock A.S. Reeson, 21, rural Blanchardville, was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash in the driveway of N8191 2nd St., New Glarus, at 5:41 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. He was backing up when he hit a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle. The parked vehicle sustained moderate damage. Reeson's vehicle was not damaged.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday, Aug. 12:

- Richard L. Burke, 71, Darlington, reported at 6:57 p.m. that he hit a deer on Country Club Road in Darlington Township.

- Benjamin P. Gultch, 22, Platteville, was taken by Belmont Ambulance to Southwest Health Center in Platteville for treatment of non-life threatening injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident on Jericho Road in Belmont Township, reported at 7:36 p.m. The Belmont Fire Department assisted deputies at the scene.
