DARLINGTON - Robert Meehan, 68, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, on East Louisa Street.

MONROE - On Wednesday, Sept. 4:
Tyler C. Keys, 26, Monroe, was arrested during a traffic stop at 1:55 a.m. in the 700 block of 8th Street on a warrant issued by the Whitewater Police Department for failure to pay fines.
A stray calico kitten was reported found at 12:36 p.m. in the 1600 block of 16th Avenue. The Green County Humane Society was notified to pick it up.
A caller at 12:39 p.m. complained about garage sales signs left up on the terrace in the area of 21st Avenue and 10th Street. An officer warned the person who put them up.
A stray black cat was reported found at 2:06 p.m. in the 1400 block of 16th Avenue. The Humane Society took it.
A resident in the 1000 block of 23rd Street was warned to stop feeding stray animals and to remove dead animals from the yard after a neighbor complained at 3:21 p.m. that the resident had dead kittens in the yard. An officer located one dead kitten and two dead squirrels in the yard.
A man in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue reported at 9 p.m. that someone had sprayed some kind of liquid, probably a food, on his car. The officer dispatched to the scene suggested he rinse it off with water.
A suspected burglary was reported at 9:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of 28th Avenue. Three basement screens had been cut sometime in the past week, but police found no evidence that anything was stolen.

Lonnie Grinnell, 59, South Wayne, was cited for speeding at 5:49 a.m. on County KK in Gratiot Township.
Jay S. Nolte, 45, Wauwatosa, was cited for speeding at 11:14 a.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township.
Teri J. Howard, 48, Milwaukee, was cited for speeding at 11:30 a.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township.
William R. Rees, 70, Shullsburg, was cited for following too closely and for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 3:50 p.m. on Wisconsin 81 in Seymour Township.
A deputy took a report at 7 p.m. of a person injured in a farm machinery accident on Rielly Road in Willow Springs Township.
A deputy provided a ride to a transient at 7:40 p.m. from a location on Moundview Avenue in Belmont to Hazel Green.
