MONROE - Charges are pending after the sheriff's department responded to a complaint at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, June 8, that people were still inside Trailside Inn, 101 E. Old Highway Road, Browntown, after bar closing time. Upon arrival, deputies could hear load music coming from inside the establishment and talked with several people inside. The pending charges are for being in a closed tavern and for smoking in a tavern.
• Oscar A. Silva-Alfaro, 21, Freeport, was cited for driving without a valid license in the N1700 block of Wisconsin 69 in Clarno Township at 5:24 p.m. Friday, June 7.

BRODHEAD - Kory R. Costa, 18, Brodhead, was arrested on a probation violation at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the 500 block of 1st Center Avenue. He was jailed.
• Jennifer A. Cox, 32, Janesville, was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle at 2:59 p.m. Sunday, June 2, in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue.
• David A. Scofield, Jr., 24, Brodhead, was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license, driving without vehicle insurance and failure to obey a lawful order at 8:33 p.m. Sunday, June 2, in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue.
• Kimberly M. Moore, 29, Brodhead, was cited for theft of library materials on Tuesday, June 4.
• Timothy M. Johnson, 49, Loves Park, Ill., was cited for speeding at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.
• Andrew T. Johnson, 48, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 1:02 p.m. Friday, June 7, in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.
• Deborah J. Newcomb, 30, Brodhead, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 3:21 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in the 1900 block of West 2nd Avenue.
