Harry W. Miles, age 80, of Monroe, died on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Monroe Manor. He was born on February 1, 1936 in Boscobel, WI, the son of Harry and Iola (Wiltrout) Miles.
Harry and Lynnette Vanderhouf were married on March 16, 1957 in Pecatonica, IL.
Harry was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 754.
He is survived by his wife, Lynnette of Monroe, sons, Randy (Kristen) Miles of Waunakee, Rick Miles of Monroe, daughters, Peggy (Roger) Frommung, of Lyndon Station, WI, Marianne (Tom) Keenen of Denver, CO; brothers, Harold Miles of Rockford, IL, Howard Miles of Fennimore; sisters, Darlene Monson and Juanita Miles both of Rockford, IL, Charlotte (Walter) Gumtow of Monroe; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, brother, Arnold and sister, Lavila Miles.
Private family services will be held at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home.
