DARLINGTON - The Shullsburg Fire Department and Shullsburg police responded to Mineral Street in Shullsburg at 1:22 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, for a report of a gas main break. Deputies assisted with traffic control and evacuation.
• Rural Medical Ambulance and the Darlington Fire Department were dispatched at 11:21 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, for a person who had fallen off a horse and was injured. Deputies assisted at the scene.
• The Shullsburg Fire Department was dispatched at 3:53 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, for a grass fire that was out of control on County P in Shullsburg Township. A deputy responded to assist.
