The court Tuesday sentenced Michael J. Boroczk, 18, New Glarus, to two years probation and ordered him to pay $2,161 in restitution after he pleaded no contest to two counts of criminal damage to property.
He faced up to 18 months in jail and up to $20,000 in fines for the class A misdemeanors.
Court records indicate he damaged two golf carts during the late evening hours of July 31 or early morning hours of Aug. 1 at Edelweiss Country Club in Exeter township.
In a second case, he was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay $1,469 in restitution after he pleaded no contest to theft.
He faced up to nine months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines for the class A misdemeanor.
