Misdemeanors

On Monday:

• Chad J. Nicks, 39, Monroe, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of driving while intoxicated, second offense; he also had one count of driving with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration dismissed. Nicks will serve 30 days in jail with work release privileges, have his driver's license revoked for 16 months, and he is ordered to install an ignition interlock system for a period of one year after he is re-licensed. Nicks was arrested on Nov. 27 after a traffic violation on County K east of Montgomery Road, Jefferson Township. He owes a fine of $2,960.

• Shane D. Riley, 28, Monroe, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of one count of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct. He owes a forfeiture fine of $416. Court records indicate Riley was involved in a "mutual combat" fight with his girlfriend's father on June 24. The two were arguing about rent and led to a fight.

• Valerie J. Weihman-Rock, 56, Argyle, had a signature bond set at $750 with additional conditions that she not drink or go into bars and liquor stores. She had a not-guilty plea entered on her behalf. Weihman-Rock was charged with DWI and driving with a PAC, both second offenses, stemming from an incident that occurred on March 9. Court records indicate police got an anonymous call about an erratic driver on Wisconsin 69 where an officer saw Weihman-Rock's red Ford truck swerving across the center line several times. After pulling her over, the responding officer said he smelled the odor of intoxicants and asked Weihman-Rock what the smell was. She replied and said that it was just "farm smell." The officer performed a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer test that came back as .09 percent blood alcohol concentration. A blood test at the hospital determined her blood alcohol concentration to be .117 percent. She has a pre-trial conference set for July 1.
