Monroe Police

MONROE — On June 6: 

●  Cody J. Ott, 29, Monroe, was arrested on a felony warrant issued by the Department of Corrections at 8:06 a.m. in the 600 block of 30th Street. He was jailed. 

●  Aniceto Salazar Alarcon, 31, Freeport, was arrested on a warrant issued by Green County at 12:51 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. He was jailed. 


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On May 29: 

●  Tyler A. Williams, 24, Argyle, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating under the influence at 12:20 a.m. in the N7700 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus as a result of a traffic complaint. He was also cited for driving left of center and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. He was released. 

●  Porfirio Mendoza Caballero, 26, Brodhead, was cited for driving without a valid license, second offense within three years, at 5:01 a.m. in the W5200 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. 

●  Frank C. Santoro, 50, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating under the influence at 7:44 a.m. on 23rd Street and 13th Avenue in Monroe as a result of a two-vehicle crash. He was released. Monroe Police Department investigated the crash. Green County EMS and Monroe Fire Department assisted. 

●  Shane A. Chesebro, 39, Monroe, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating under the influence at 4:10 p.m. in the N3400 block of Joy Del Road, Town of Monroe following a report that he lost control of his motorcycle and slid into a ditch. He was also cited for operating a motorcycle without a valid license, possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. He was released. 

●  Kileyann J. Huenefeld, 22, Freeport, was cited for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia at 9:06 p.m. in the N3300 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. A 16-year-old passenger, New Glarus, was cited for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. 

●  Thomas Roznowski, 42, Palatine, Illinois, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse related battery and disorderly conduct at 1:46 a.m. May 30 in the N3200 block of Crazy Horse Lane, Town of Decatur as a result of an altercation. He was jailed. Brodhead police assisted. 

On June 2: 

●  Cody J. Ott, 29, was cited for driving without a valid license, his 2nd within 3 years, at 7:54 a.m. in the N4600 block of County J, Town of Monroe as a result of a report of a vehicle in a ditch. The vehicle was towed. 

●  Andrew J. Turpin, 25, Blanchardville, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 10:50 a.m. at the Green County Sheriff’s Office, 2827 6th Street in Monroe. He was jailed. 

●   Mark T. Schmid, 61, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse related disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering safety at 11:51 p.m. June 3 in the W3700 block of Hummer Road, Town of Jefferson. He was jailed. 

On June 4: 

●  Czarina F. Santos, 41, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse related disorderly conduct and battery at 1:51 p.m. in the W4800 block of Greenbush Road, Town of Sylvester. She was jailed. 

●  Mark T. Schmid, 64, Monroe, was arrested on a domestic abuse contact prohibition violation at 2:15 p.m. in the W3700 block of Hummer Road, Town of Jefferson. He was jailed. 

On June 5: 

●  Mark W. Scott, 63, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating under the influence at 1:46 a.m. in the N3500 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. He was jailed. 

●  Roneil G. Haynes, 40, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse related battery at 10:50 p.m. in the N4600 block of County E, Town of Decatur. He was jailed. Morgan Y. Voegeli, 37, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating under the influence. She was released to a responsible party. Albany Police Department assisted. 

On June 6: 

●  Andrew E. Reinbold, 40, Juda, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating under the influence at 3:11 a.m. in the W2900 block of Main Street, Town of Jefferson as a result of a check welfare. He was released. 

●  Jose Israel Isidro-Vargas, 43, Fitchburg, was arrested on a warrant issued by Marathon County at 9:12 a.m. on Wis. 92 and County W, Town of Exeter. He was also cited for driving without a valid license. He was released. 

● Heather L. Prinkey, 45, Beloit, turned herself in on a warrant for her arrest at 6:17 p.m. June 7 at the Green County Sheriff’s Office. She was jailed. 

●  John Davidray Redwine, 20, Rockford, was arrested on domestic abuse related charges of strangulation, false imprisonment, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and battery at 12:19 p.m. June 8 in Monroe as a result of an incident that occurred May 31 at a residence in the Town of Cadiz. He was also charged with resisting arrest. He was jailed. Monroe Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted. 

●  Carmen K. Decker, 40, Juda, was arrested on a probation hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 3 p.m. June 9 at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe. She was jailed.


Monticello Police

MONTICELLO — On May 22: 

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 12:09 p.m. in the 500 block of North Monroe Street. Everything was okay. 

●  Police monitored Wis. 69 at 4:06 p.m. for a vehicle that was reported to have fled without paying for gas in New Glarus. 

On May 23: 

●  James W. Jacobs was cited for driving with a suspended license at 6:04 p.m. on East Coates Avenue and North Main Street. 

●  Police located an unsecured building at 10:24 p.m. at an undisclosed location in Monticello. Owner was contacted and door was secured. 

On May 24: 

●  Police, Monticello Fire First Response and Green County EMS responded at 8:59 a.m. to the village. 

●  Grass clippings being blown into the street was reported at 4:17 p.m. in the 500 block of South Main Street. Matter was resolved. 

●  Brodie G. Flannery, Gratiot, was cited for failure to wear seatbelt at 4:36 p.m. on West Coates Avenue and North Kennedy Street. 

●  A snapping turtle stuck under some stairs was reported at 4:53 p.m. in the 300 block of East Coates Avenue. Police safely removed and relocated the turtle. 

●  Police responded for a vehicle unlock at 7:53 p.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street. 

●  Tall grass and weeds complaint was reported at 12:34 p.m. May 25 in the 100 block of North Main Street. Owner was contacted to resolve matter. 

On May 26: 

●  Grass blown into the curb and gutter was reported at 9:05 a.m. on Montesian Court and South Garfield Street. Owner was contacted and matter was resolved. 

●  Tall grass was reported at 9:16 a.m. in the 200 block of South Madison Street. Owner was contacted to resolve matter. 

●  Eric B. Carroll, Brodhead, was cited for regulation length of grass greater than 8” at 9:18 a.m. in the 200 block of East Lake Avenue. 

●  A dog at large was reported at 2:11 p.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street. 

On May 28: 

●  A possible alcohol violation was reported at 6:13 a.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69. This is under investigation. 

●  Police, Monticello Fire First Response and Green County EMS responded at 6:58 a.m. to the village.

On June 1: 

●  A civil matter involving a vehicle purchased from a private seller was reported at 2:16 p.m. 

●  Grass clippings on the street was reported at 4:21 p.m. The resident was instructed to resolve matter. 

●  An abandoned vehicle was reported at 6:14 p.m. in the 300 block of Urban Road. It was found to have had electrical issues. It was removed.
