What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?

BUDGETARY: Work on committees I would be assigned. Research, validate and expedite proposals to present to Council for discussions and passage.

SUBSIDIZED HOUSING: Work closely with Code Enforcement Department to ensure questions, procedures and problems would be acknowledged and handled fairly by the exisiting housing management teams and other private property owners.

I would join the council ranks with no partisan leanings, no outside influences or affiliations. I am independent and would not be a "Rubber Stamp" council woman.

What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?

This is a tough one to answer as I've been away from Monroe for 36 years and am now getting back in touch with the items of concern of the local citizenry. My 14 years working in management with the Sherwin-Williams Co. have provided me the opportunities to successfully negotiate contracts with clients; develop and implement 1-5 year business plans, budgets and goals; perform Human Resource tasks, and provide great customer service. I would bring these skills to the Council.
