BELLEVILLE — Hometown Safety Grants from the Alliant Energy Foundation awarded $450 to Belleville area EMS for a vacuum splint system.
The safety grants fund specific tools and projects to help first responders do their jobs better: defibrillators in public buildings, personal protective equipment for police and more.
Twelve communities across Wisconsin received grants.
The grants are awarded for specific, one-time, safety-related projects that benefit a wide range of people and can be completed within one year. For more information or to apply, visit alliantenergy.com/foundation.
