Power of attorney event set for Nov. 12

MONROE - The Conversations that Matter: Power of Attorney for Healthcare, Living Wills and Guardianship education event, hosted by the Green County Aging and Disability Resource Center, will be held from 11 to noon Nov. 12 in the second floor community room at Monroe Public Library.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center is offering the educational event for those who are wanting to learn more about power of attorney for healthcare, living wills and guardianships. Handouts on the topic, do-it-yourself kits and community resources will be available.

Sue Hall, spiritual care coordinator with Monroe Clinic, will also be on hand to talk about the advance directive preparation sessions open to the community through Monroe Clinic.
