MONROE — The Monroe City Band concludes its 2018 season with a traditional holiday concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at Monroe United Methodist Church.

The band will perform a collection of traditional and contemporary holiday music, classic band literature and a sing-a-long. There will be a Green County Food Pantry collection to help those in need during this holiday season.

The band will also host a social time with cookies and punch in Fellowship Hall immediately following the concert. In 2019, the band will celebrate its 70th anniversary, and plans to celebrate all season long. Rehearsals for the upcoming summer season begin in April.

Questions should be directed to Monroe City Band Director Brian Bruggeman, brianbruggeman@monroe.k12.wi.us or 608-328-7447.
