PLATTEVILLE - Sean Garde, Monroe, was chosen as one of 10 students who will perform in the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Honors Recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 in the Richard and Helen Brodbeck Concert Hall at the Center for the Arts.
The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the lobby.
Garde will play the saxophone. Garde and other students chosen for the recital distinguished themselves in their juried performance examinations last fall.
"The Student Honors Recital recognizes dedicated students who strive for excellence, and our faculty looks forward to honoring these exemplary students at this event," said Dr. Susan Savage Day, UW-Platteville assistant professor of music and vocal area coordinator.
