Veterans Grave
On Saturday, May 16 Darlington American Legion Post 214 members, along with Darlington High School and Middle School students, went to Holy Rosary and Union Grove Cemeteries and honored departed veterans by placing an American Flag on their grave. Bob Wiegel took the time to ask the students to come and participate and the Wiegel Strong Foundation, which took all the students down to the Lucky Cow for a treat after they finished. The flags will stay on the veterans’ graves until after July 4.
