MONROE - A 5K run/2 mile walk, hosted by Fighting Addiction: It takes Help, is set for Aug. 29. The event benefits addiction awareness.
Registration and packet pickup is set for 7:30 a.m., with race time at 9 a.m. at Monroe Clinic, 515 22nd Ave.
Entry fee is $25 for adults and $15 for students in high school and younger. The price includes a T-shirt and bag. Registration forms and payment must be received by Aug. 16 to guarantee a shirt. Prices go up Aug. 16. All proceeds benefit the Substance Abuse Program of Green County Human Services.
