Bank hosting workshops on how to protect identity

EVANSVILLE - The Union Bank and Trust Company is hosting How to Protect Your Identity workshops in November to encourage people to make identity protection part of their regular routine and reduce their risk of identity theft.

Workshops will be held Nov. 7 at the Union Bank and Trust in Brooklyn, Nov. 10 at the Union Bank and Trust in New Glarus and Nov. 13 at the Union Bank and Trust in Belleville. Staff will be available to answer questions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bank experts will be on hand to discuss and provide information topics including: How to Protect Yourself from Becoming a Victim of Identity Theft; My Identity Has Been Stolen, Now What Do I Do?; Security at Union Bank and Trust; and Prevention is the Best Medicine - How to Protect Yourself Online.

Those who are unable to attend one of the workshops, can contact one of the local Union Bank and Trust offices.
