Sherman and Lorene Peterson, Argyle, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Oct. 26, 2014.
Sherman and the former Lorene Thompson were married on Oct. 26, 1974 at East Wiota Lutheran Church. The couple has one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and JoAnn Peterson, and two grandchildren, Wyatt and Elizabeth.
The couple will celebrate with an open house on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 4747 Whiteside Road, Argyle. No formal invitations are being sent. Family and friends are invited to the open house.
