MONROE — The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has announced its 2025 Boys and Girls basketball Team Academic All-State awards. The WBCA recognizes teams who have achieved great success in the classroom. To be recognized, WBCA member coaches were required to nominate their team. Team GPA’s were weighted and based on cumulative credits attempted by the top ten varsity players on each team as well as those players’ GPA.
In Division 4, Darlington (3.946 GPA) was second only to Westby (3.950 GPA). Only six teams across the entire state had a higher cumulative GPA than Darlington. The Redbirds just completed their 2024-2025 season with a record of 16-9.
Note, Darlington’s individual student athletes earning honors were not made public by the WBCA.
