Relay For Life is a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. In Green County, the towns work together to have an event that celebrates our cancer survivors, provides support for families and cancer patients, raises awareness of resources available from the American Cancer Society, and raises money for support services and research for those affected by cancer and to find a cure.

This year they will again have a spaghetti supper fundraiser and it will be paired with the Relay event. The event will include a short program and luminary ceremony. Organizers hope this all-in-one event will allow people to join them for a night honoring cancer survivors and remembering loved ones lost.

The Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser and Relay Event will be held on Monday, October 5 at Koning Maple Lane Event Center, N3051 Wis. 81, Monroe. The dinner will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. with a short ceremony following. Cancer Survivors will enjoy a meal for free but they do need to register by calling Evelyn at 608-558-8062.
