On July 20:
● At 1:19 a.m., Deputies, along with Browntown FD, and Green County EMS, responded to the W7700 blk of STH 81, Town of Jordan for a one vehicle rollover crash. Investigation determined that the operator of the vehicle, Nolan N. Clark, 25, of Monroe, was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle left the road and entered the south ditch where it rolled and came to rest on its side. Clark was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Additionally, Clark was arrested for operating under the influence (1st offense). Clark was given a future mandatory court date and was released to medical staff for further medical care.
On July 21:
● At 9:47 a.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office, in the City of Monroe, and placed Jeffery J. Johnson, 55, of Brodhead, under arrest for a Probation Hold. Johnson was transported to the Green County Jail.
On July 23:
● At 12:02 a.m., Deputies responded to the W2800 block of County Highway KS, Town of Jefferson, for a reported disturbance. Investigations resulted in Joshua W Hurley, 39, of Juda being arrested for battery. Hurley was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance. All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On July 24:
● At 5:07 p.m., Deputies,with the assistance of Brodhead Police Department, were notified of a domestic disturbance in the N3200 of Crazy Horse Ln., Town of Decatur. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Stephanie M. Pirkel, 32, of Watertown, for disorderly conduct, and battery under the WI Domestic Abuse Statue. Pirkel was additionally charged with 3 counts of bail jumping. Pirkel was transported to the Green County Jail and given a pending court date.
On July 25:
● At 6:54 p.m., Deputies along with Sugar River EMS, Monticello First Response, Green County EMS, and New Glarus Police Department, responded to the W4700 block of Exeter Crossing Rd., Town of Exeter, for a single- vehicle ATV crash with injuries. Investigation determined that the driver, Logan R. Rickard, 28, of Monticello, lost control of his UTV while negotiating a curve traveling eastbound. Logan and two passengers, Lexy R. Rickard, 18, and Lainey R. Rickard, 21, Both of Blue Mounds, sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported by EMS to a local hospital. The UTV sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
On July 28:
● At approximately 8:44 p.m., Deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of State Highway 81 and County Highway N, Town of Monroe, after it failed to stop at a stop sign. Investigations resulted in the driver, Josue Castellanos Luna, 39, of Monroe being arrested for operating while under the influence-1st and cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver license, operate a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to stop at a stop sign, and possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Castellanos Luna was released to a responsible party pending court.
On July 30:
● At 1:35 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 blk of 6th St, City of Monroe, for a Probation/Parole violation. Deputies took custody of, Domanic K Strehlow, 19, Argyle, for the violation. Strehlow was transported to the Green County Jail.
● At 4:58 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH M and CTHY in the Town of Jordan for a two vehicle accident. Investigation found that a vehicle operated by, Margaret S. Kauffman, 27, of South Wayne was traveling west on CTH Y when she failed to yield at the yield sign. Kauffman entered the intersection and was struck by a northbound vehicle operated by, Rebecca L. Novak, 52, of Browntown. All occupants reported no injuries and seatbelt usage. Novak’s vehicle was towed from the scene, and Kauffman was able to drive the vehicle from the scene. Kauffman was cited for FTY from a yield sign.
On August 2:
● At approximately 9:00 p.m., Deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W3700 block of State Highway 11, Town of Sylvester. Investigations resulted in the driver, Earl D Sheda Jr, 46, of Stoughton, being arrested for felony bail jumping, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of illegal drug paraphernalia. Sheda was further cited for speeding and operating without motor vehicle insurance. Sheda was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance
On August 6:
● At 1:07 a.m., Deputies conducted a welfare check on a motorist in the W100 block of King Rd., in the Town of Brooklyn. The investigation resulted in the driver, Gina K. Allen, 55, of Oregon, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence, Bail Jumping, and Resisting/Obstructing Law Enforcement. Allen was additionally cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance and Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. Allen was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
● 2:32 p.m., Deputies responded to the W7000 block of CTH Y, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Jordan T. Landen, 22, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property. Landen was later booked at the Green County Jail and released pending court.
On August 9:
● At 5:47 a.m., Deputies responded to the 1200 blk of 1st St, Village of New Glarus, for a disturbance. Investigation resulted in, Ethan M Fregien, 28, New Glarus, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct under the Domestic Abuse law. Fregien was jailed pending a court appearance.
On August 10:
● At 2:12 a.m., Deputies responded to the N4400 block of CTH J, in the Town of Monroe, for a report of a vehicle parked in the roadway with no headlights on. The investigation resulted in Jayden M. Baumgartner, 24, of South Wayne, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Baumgartner was additionally cited for Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle and Improper Parking of Vehicle. Baumgartner was later released to a responsible person pending court.
On August 13:
● At approximately 2:43 p.m., Deputies responded to the W2200 block of State Highway 11, Town of Spring Grove, for a two vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Gilbert H Barry, 50, of Beloit, was westbound on State Highway 11 and slowed to the active construction zone. Another westbound vehicle operated by Gabrielle M Wenger, 16, of Brodhead, struck Barry’s vehicle from behind. Both Barry and Wenger denied injury, reported wearing seatbelts, and no airbag deployment in either vehicle. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. As a result of the accident, Wenger was cited for inattentive driving and released with a future court date.
● At approximately 9:04 p.m., Deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the 2900 block of State Highway 69, City of Monroe. Investigations resulted in the driver, Bradley W Schofield, 53, of Orangeville, being arrested for OWI-2nd offense. Schofield was additionally cited for operating left of center, unreasonable and imprudent speed, and possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle. Schofield was released to a responsible party with a future court date.
