SOUTH WAYNE — Black Hawk High School has announced the hiring of Brandon Behlke as its new head boys’ basketball coach. Coach Behlke takes over for Michael Flanagan, who resigned after last season and had been at the helm for three years.

Behlke has served alongside Flanagan on the Warriors basketball staff as an assistant coach for all three seasons. He is also an assistant coach in football and track and field at Black Hawk, along with his teaching responsibilities as the business/computer instructor. Most of Behlke’s previous coaching experience has been in northwestern Illinois.
