Keith brothers receive Parmer Scholarship

Mitchell Keith and Grant Keith are the recipients of the 8th and 9th annual William C. and Margaret L. Parmer Scholarship.

MONROE — Mitchell Keith and Grant Keith are the recipients of the 8th and 9th annual William C. and Margaret L. Parmer Scholarship.  This Scholarship helps students with the high cost of their medical school education and was created Parmer.   The recipient must be from Green County and accepted or enrolled in Medical School.  Margaret’s husband, William, passed away in 2005 and this was something they had often talked about doing.   It has been a wonderful experience for Margaret to see her vision come true and meet the recipients each year.  

Grant is a 2014 graduate of Monroe High School and is enrolled at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison.   Upon completion of medical school, Grant’s career goal is to go into Emergency Medicine or Orthopedic Surgery.

Mitchell is a 2016 graduate of Monroe High School and is enrolled at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison, WI.  Upon completion of medical school,  Mitchell’s career goal is to go into, Pediatrics, Oncology, ER or surgery.
