Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Amy E. Espenscheid, 48, Argyle, reported at 7:12 a.m. that she hit a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. No injuries were reported. Espenscheid's 2013 Ford sustained minor damage.

• Mark C. Brugger, 25, Darlington, reported at 7:43 p.m. that he hit a deer on County M, Town of Wiota. No injuries were reported. Brugger's 2014 Dodge sustained minor damage.

On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:47 a.m. from a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 126, Town of Belmont. Roquelin Bustamante, 41, Darlington, was northbound when she lost control on a curve. Her 2004 Ford left the road and hit a fence. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Bustamante was cited for driving with a suspended license.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• A hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:58 p.m. in the parking lot of Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program, Inc. and Green Cares Food Pantry, W5198 County C, in rural Monticello. Jessica A. Perez, 31, Brodhead, reported that her unoccupied vehicle had been hit while parked in the lot. It sustained very minor damage. Witnesses at the scene identified Sharon K. Lawinger, 40, Blanchardville, as the driver of the offending vehicle. Deputies made contact with Lawinger at her residence and she admitted to striking Perez's vehicle. Everyone's information was collected, but no citations were issued.

• Robert F. Hansen, 57, Brodhead, reported hitting a deer in the N4200 block of County N, Town of Monroe.

• Richard J. Churchill, 32, Janesville, reported hitting a deer in the W2300 block of County SS, Town of Decatur.

On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:38 a.m. from a one-vehicle crash in the W3800 block of County SS, Town of Sylvester. Ariel L. Price, 16, Monroe, lost control on a curve and the vehicle went down an embankment, struck a tree and came to rest in a cornfield. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.

• Jeffrey D. Rupnow, Argyle, reported a vehicle vs. deer crash in the N4800 block of Trotter Road.
