— Tess Zettle, Green County Dairy Queen Chairperson
Hi, my name is Addison Curran, and I am honored to be the 2025-2026 Monroe Dairy Queen. As I prepare to enter my junior year, I am excited about the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead.
This year, I have the privilege of serving as the Vice President of my FFA Chapter. Last school year, I participated in a Career Development Event where I had the chance to identify various cheeses and taste different types of milk. Through this experience, I discovered fascinating facts about the dairy industry, such as the origin of Colby cheese in Colby, WI. My involvement in FFA has been incredibly rewarding, and I am passionate about contributing to my chapter.
In addition to my FFA activities, I am an avid gymnast, competing in the Green County Gymnastics Program. Currently, I am a level 7 gymnast, with aspirations of advancing to level 8 soon. Competing across Wisconsin has allowed me to meet new people and form lasting friendships, and I look forward to making even more connections through gymnastics.
When I am not busy with school or gymnastics, I love to fish. This year, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Canada, where I caught my best walleye and northern pike — both of which were longer than my arm!
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my life. I hope my story inspires you to go out and catch your biggest fish!
