BELLEVILLE — The Madison Country Day Prairie Hawks scored a goal in the 51st minute and that was all the scoring they needed to get by the Sugar River Raiders 1-0 in nonconference soccer on Tuesday, May 26.

Senior Savanah Minter played a brilliant match at goalkeeper for the Raiders with four saves in all 80 minutes of play. The Raiders had 10 shots on goal but could not break through.

Sugar River drops to 13-5-1 with the loss. The Raiders played another nonconference match at Stoughton to close the regular season on Thursday, May 28. Sugar River is a No. 2 seed for the WIAA Division 3 playoffs and will host No. 15 seed Monroe in a regional semifinal on Thursday, June 4.
