I am Miranda Mortensen, the 2025-2026 Brooklyn Dairy Queen. I am the daughter of Lori and Kyle Mortensen. And I have lived in Brooklyn my whole life. This coming year, I will be entering my Senior year of high school at Oregon High. I am a part of my local 4-H club the Oregon Headliners, I’m a Dane County 4-H Dog Project Youth Ambassador, the Oregon FFA Student Advisor, a member of the Oregon High School Equestrian Team, and now Brooklyn Dairy Queen. I also really enjoy showing horses in the Western discipline, showing dogs -especially in agility- and any form of volunteering. I am so excited to be Brooklyn Dairy Queen so I can give back to my community by going to local events and volunteering. I am very excited to be the 2025-2026 Brooklyn Dairy Queen so I can support my community in a bigger way. I plan to do this by going to as many events as possible in my community and the surrounding areas. I am excited to go to anything from parades to the Brooklyn Labor Day celebration and everything in between. It is an honor to be the 2025-2026 Brooklyn Dairy Queen.
