Monroe Police

MONROE - Robert T. Alexander, 25, Monroe, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. Friday for driving while intoxicated, second offense, after police stopped his vehicle at the intersection of 4th Avenue West and West 21st Street. Alexander was also cited for non-registration of a vehicle and possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle. He was released to a responsible party pending court.

• Rebecca L. Thompson, 31, Monroe, was arrested at 12:38 a.m. Saturday for DWI, second offense, after police stopped her vehicle in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue. Thompson was also cited for driving the wrong way on a one-way street and no proof of insurance. She was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Julie A. Boozier, 46, Brodhead, was arrested at 2:33 a.m. for DWI, first offense, after a deputy stopped her vehicle on County T at Halfway Tree Road, Town of Spring Grove. Boozier was also cited for driving left of center and released to a responsible party pending court. Brodhead police assisted at the stop.

• Allen M. Carstensen, 22, was charged at 9:54 a.m. with one count of battery by a prisoner after assaulting a fellow inmate at the Green County Jail. Sheriff Mark Rohloff said video surveillance in the jail shows a fellow inmate was standing near Carstensen's bunk and then Carstensen shoved the victim causing him to hit his head on the jail bars behind him. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a head laceration requiring stitches. Carstensen will remain incarcerated pending a court appearance.

On Saturday

• Todd A. Bowens, 50, Cobb, was arrested at 12:03 p.m. on a Green County warrant for failure to appear after deputies investigated a suspicious activity complaint at a residence on Taylor Trail, Town of Decatur. Bowens was jailed pending court.

• Steven R. Rowley, 49, Brodhead, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. for domestic abuse-related battery after deputies responded to a domestic incident at Mohns Clark Road, Town of Spring Grove. Rowley was jailed pending court.

On Sunday:

• Cody A. Kirschbaum, 26, South Wayne, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. on a Rock County warrant for failure to appear after deputies checked on a vehicle in the ditch on Wisconsin 104 near Bump Road, Town of Albany. Kirschbaum was turned over to the Rock County Sheriff's Department.

• Jaime Hernandez, 30, Monroe, was cited at 4:24 p.m. for driving without a valid license following a traffic stop in the W3700 block of Wis. 11, Sylvester Township. Hernandez was released pending court.





Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy responded at 4:46 a.m. to remove a deer carcass from the roadway on Wis. 11, New Diggings Township. The deer was hit by an unknown vehicle.

• A deputy responded to a location on North Mound Avenue, Belmont, after an alarm was received from the area at 9:24 a.m. Upon arrival the deputy learned a service company was working on the alarm system and no further assistance was needed.

• A deputy investigated a theft report at 9:58 a.m. of copper wire found missing from a cellphone tower. Further investigation found that several other locations in Lafayette County had reported wire theft.

• Samantha H. Beranek, 25, no address, was taken into custody at 3:49 p.m. on School Street, Blanchardville, on numerous outstanding warrants for contempt of court. Beranek remains jailed pending court.

On Saturday:

• Timothy K. Lattin, 26, Argyle, was cited at 2:30 a.m. for disorderly conduct after a deputy responded to a complaint of loud music at a residence on Galena Avenue, Argyle.

• A deputy assisted Green County deputies at 10:25 a.m. by attempting to locate several suspects involved in a theft case in Green County. The suspects were not located.

• Tracey M. Zsido, 42, Apple River, Ill., was arrested at 3:06 p.m. for driving while intoxicated on County W, Monticello Township, after a report was received of an erratic driver. Zsido also had an outstanding Lafayette County warrant and was jailed until bond was posted. The vehicle she was driving was towed.

• Kyle D. Watkins, 24, Belleville, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. for driving while intoxicated after a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Spore Road, Argyle Township. Watkins was released to a responsible party.

On Sunday:

• Deputies responded to a report of an unwanted subject at a residence on County I, New Diggings Township, at 3:36 a.m. The subject left the area prior to law enforcement arrival.

• A deputy was dispatched at 8:41 a.m. to a complaint of trespassing on Paulson Road, Blanchard Township. The suspects were thought to be hunting on the property.

• A deputy assisted Grant County deputies with a complaint of an out-of-control juvenile at a residence on Hazel Green at 10:27 a.m.

• A deputy responded to a report of an injured deer at 3:31 p.m. on West Brennan Road, Argyle Township.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On Sunday, Oct. 5:

• Kyle A. Olson, 26, Brodhead, was cited at 1:51 a.m. for disorderly conduct in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. Olson was released pending court.

• Dylan T. Connolly, 22, Brodhead, was cited at 1:51 a.m. for battery and disorderly conduct during the same incident listed above. Connolly was released pending court.

• Susan M. Olson, 33, Beloit, was arrested at 4:03 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, first offense, in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Olson was released pending court.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police cited a juvenile at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday for possession of tobacco products on school grounds in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• Joseph M. G. Kutyna, 28, Monroe, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69 near 11th Avenue on a Green County warrant for failure to appear. Kutyna was also cited for no registration of a vehicle, driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance. Kutyna was jailed pending court.

• Cody A. Carroll, 27, New Glarus, was cited at 11:41 a.m. Sunday for a dog running at large in the 10 block of 13th Avenue.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Fabian Monfil-Pacheco, 29, Darlington, was cited at 7:14 p.m. Saturday for driving after suspension and non-registration of a vehicle following a traffic stop on Wells Street.

• Gerrel Caldwell, 55, Darlington, was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Sunday on a probation and parole hold following police contact on Clay Street. Caldwell was jailed pending court.
