Elizabeth M. Adams age 85, of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Dimension Living in Monroe. She was born on January 30, 1941 the daughter of Alvin and Ruth (Michaels) Rothermel. Elizabeth graduated from Albany High School and from Green County Normal. On September 9, 1989 Elizabeth was united in marriage to Gerald Adams in Monroe.

Elizabeth was the Transportation Manager for Armour Food Company for 20 years and also worked at Cenex/So. Wisconsin Co-op for many years. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and fishing.

Elizabeth is survived by her siblings, Ruth (John) Gentry and Deana (Bob) Beckwith both of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Carla Neuenschwander, Annette Ruef, and Janice Farmer.
