MONROE — SSM Health is expanding services for community members seeking walk-in care with the move of its Monroe Express Clinic from 100 W. 8th Street to the SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group at 515 22nd Avenue on May 11.

The clinic will offer expanded access to laboratory, imaging, and pharmacy services and will be renamed SSM Health Monroe Urgent Care.

“Having multiple specialties in one building will positively impact community members who are receiving walk-in care and may need imaging or lab tests for a diagnosis, or even a prescription before they go home to recover,” said SSM Health Monroe Urgent Care Manager Jennifer Chapman. “The Urgent Care being located near our Emergency Department and hospital also provides an added layer of safety for individuals who may be unaware they are experiencing a medical emergency.”

As part of this transition, SSM Health Monroe Direct to Employer Clinic will relocate to 100 W. 8th Street following some minor construction. Direct to Employer will temporarily suspend service on May 18 to make the move and will officially reopen at its new location on May 19.

During the week of May 11-15, both SSM Health Monroe Urgent Care and SSM Health Monroe Direct to Employer clinic will operate out of the 515 22nd Ave. Location. Our team appreciates your patience during this transition.
