Monroe Police

MONROE — On July 21:

•  Daria L. Beutel, 25, Browntown, was arrested at 1:36 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 700 block of 8th Avenue. Beutel was cited for operating a motor vehicle after revocation. Beutel was also arrested for bail jumping due to a violation of prior court ordered bail conditions prohibiting the operation of a vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Beutel was booked and released pending a court appearance.

•  Thomas J. Ott, 51, La Crosse, was arrested at 9:25 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 9th Street. Ott was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department. Ott was confined in the Green County Jail pending further action.

On July 24:

•  Dylan C. McMahon, 26, Rockford, was arrested at 2:26 p.m. in the 700 block of 6th Avenue for an outstanding warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff’s Department for possession of THC. McMahon was confined in the Green County Jail.

•  Kole A. Figi, 24, Monroe, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. in the 400 block of West 21st Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Figi was confined in the Green County Jail.

•  Jenifer L. Kitelinger, 35, Monroe, was arrested at 10:06 p.m. in the 1000 block of 17th Street for disorderly conduct, resisting an officer and two counts of battery to a police officer as the result of a disturbance. Kitelinger was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — On July 19:

•  Trespassing was reported at 2:07 p.m. in the 900 block of West 3rd Avenue. Subjects were on a pier along the race without permission. Warnings were issued.

•  A code violation of grass clippings in the road was reported at 2:44 p.m. in the 1000 block of East 3rd Avenue.The matter remains under investigation.

•  A code violation of grass clippings in the roadway was reported at 4:49 p.m. in the 1000 block of 4th Street. The matter remains under investigation. 

•  A code violation of grass clippings in the road was reported at 4:54 p.m. in the 200 block of 9th Street. A warning was issued.

On July 20:

•  A code violation of a vehicle off the heavy truck route was reported at 7:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street. A warning was issued.

•  A gas drive off was reported at 8:12 a.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.

•  A gas drive off was reported at 3:52 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.

 

Albany Police

ALBANY — On July 16:

•  Ann M. Hartwig, 30, Albany, was cited for speeding.

On July 19:

•  Scott D. Jensen, 43, Mazomanie, was arrested for obstructing or resisting an officer, disorderly conduct and a child support warrant through Dane County.

•  John R. Clark, 47, Albany, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

On July 21:

•  Eowyn Brewer, 43, Albany, was cited for animal running at large.

On July 22:

•  Jasmine O. Berendsen, 29, Madison, was cited for operating after suspension and operating after revocation or suspension of registration.


New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS — On July 16:

•  Police came into possession of two blue folding lawn chairs at 11:30 a.m. that were left in the parking lot by the Chamber Office.

•  Police responded to an active hold up alarm at 12:30 p.m at a business on Wis. 69. It was a false alarm. 

•  Police assisted a citizen with a lock out at 4:03 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street. The vehicle was unlocked without damage.

•  Joshua G. Duval, 21, Monticello, was cuited for a seatbelt violation at 6:14 p.m. on Railroad Street at 6th Avenue.

•  Benjamin C. Schmitt, 26, New Glarus, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration at 9:18 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 6th Avenue.

•  Police assisted Belleville Police and the Dane County Sheriff’s Department at a location in Belleville at 10:39 p.m. A subject with a Department of Corrections warrant was taken into custody.

•  Police responded to a 911 misdial at 10:54 p.m. in the 200 block of 14th Avenue. Everything was OK.

On July 17:

•  Vehicles speeding on Industrial Drive was reported at 11:54 p.m. Extra patrol was requested.

•  Police responded to a medical call at 11:42 a.m. in the 900 block of 2nd Street.

On July 18:

•  Adam P. Stapelmann, 41, Verona, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 9:48 a.m. in the 100 block of 2nd Street.

•  A lost debit card was reported at 12:42 p.m. in the 100 block of 5th Avenue.

Police received a report of a lost debit card at 12:42 p.m. in the 100 block of 5th Avenue.

•  Amir G. Nasief, 37, Marshall, was cited for speeding at 2:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Industrial Drive.

•   A dog at large in Village Park was reported at 12:42 p.m. The owner was warned.

•  Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 9:45 p.m. at a residence in York Township for a report of a male subject trying to gain entry into a residence. It was later found to be a prank between juveniles.

On July 19:

•  Police assisted the Lafayette County Sheriff at 9:07 a.m. with an ongoing investigation.

•  Credit card fraud was reported at 9:17 a.m. in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue.

•  Police observed a dead animal on the roadway at 10:09 a.m. on Industrial Drive near Wis. 69. It was reported to New Glarus Public Works for removal.
