STOCKTON - The 42nd annual Willow Folk Music Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8 and 9, on the Willow Church grounds (about three miles east of Stockton on U.S. 20 then south about six miles on Willow Road). 
Saturday:
 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. - open stage performances
 6 to 6:30 p.m. - Bill Dietz (country gospel style music/ministry)
Sunday:
 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. - breakfast (followed by gospel music service)
 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. - "Christ's Country Choir"
 Noon to 5 p.m. - open stage performances
More than 100 amateur bluegrass and country singers and acoustic musicians perform from a hay wagon on a country church lawn. Food and beverages may be purchased on the grounds. Admission is $5 per day with children age 8 and under admitted free. No dogs and no alcohol or drugs allowed on church grounds. More information is available by calling (815) 947-3789.
