Five receive scholarships

DARLINGTON — The Memorial Healthcare Foundation Grants and Career Development Committee has selected five recipients for healthcare scholarships in 2020. These recipients exemplified educational and community requirements. 

The following received $1,000 awards:

Taylor Foecking, Belmont, is currently studying Nursing and Psychology at Clarke University in Dubuque. Taylor is the daughter of Kelly and Melissa Foecking, Belmont. She is currently working for the Lafayette Manor and Finley Hospital-4 med/surg. 

Jared Meister, Darlington, is currently studying Pharmacology/Toxicology and Biology at UW-Madison. Jared is the son of David and Danielle Meister, Darlington. He currently works at Hartig Drug in Darlington and Unity Point Health-Meriter Hospital in Madison. 

Paige Schilling, Darlington, is currently studying Nursing at UW-Oshkosh. Paige is the daughter of Joe and Jen Schilling, Darlington. She works at Upland Hills Hospital-Dodgeville and Monroe Clinic Hospital.

Madison Bowers, Mineral Point, is currently studying Biology at University of Dubuque. Madison is the daughter of Mitch and Tricia Bowers, Mineral Point. She currently works at the Lafayette Manor and Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. 

Tatum Evenstad, Darlington, is currently studying Nursing at SWTC in Fennimore. Tatum is the daughter of Tom Evenstad and Tammie Jamiska of Darlington. She is currently working at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. 

The Memorial Healthcare Foundation’s mission is to support and promote Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County through the endowment of new and existing services, scholarships and capital improvements.
