Brodhead-Juda 13, Whitewater 3

A seven-run second inning helped the Brodhead-Juda Cardinals get a 13-3 Rock Valley win in five innings over the Whitewater Whippets in a on Tuesday, April 28.

Braylon Strehlow and Dylan Ross each knocked in three runs and Manny Bueno scored three times to lift the Cardinals.

Logan Krupke pitched four innings, giving up three runs on three hits. Krupke walked five and struck out seven.

Brodhead-Juda (4-6, 3-4) had back-to-back RVC games scheduled for April 30 (at Delavan-Darien) and May 1 (home vs. Monroe).

New Glarus 10, Waterloo 6

The New Glarus Glarner Knights busted loose for six runs in the third inning to get a 10-6 win over the Waterloo Pirates in Capitol South baseball on Tuesday, April 28.

Nolan Julseth, Kamm Nehmer, and Brock Roth each drove in two runs to pace the Knights. Julseth hit a triple and scored three runs and Rear hit a double and scored a run.

Matt Roth pitched five innings and allowed six runs, but only two earned runs. Brock Roth pitched the final two innings and struck out four.

New Glarus (4-3, 2-1) was to face Waterloo again in a Capitol Conference game at home on Thursday, April 30 before a nonconference game on Friday, May 1 at Clinton.

Pecatonica 9, Highland 1

Catcher Cooper Schraepfer hit a two-run homer and the Vikings got two RBIs a piece from Marty Anderson and Kashton Gross to roll over the Highland Cardinals 9-1 in Six Rivers baseball on Tuesday, April 28.

Reid Schlimgen hit a double and scored two runs while Anderson allowed just one run on two hits and struck out 11 for Pecatonica.

Pecatonica (4-3, 4-2) was scheduled to face the Mineral Point Pointers in a nonconference game on Thursday, April 30 at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa. The Vikings also had a nonconference game at Wisconsin Heights scheduled for Friday, May 1.

Palmyra-Eagle 2, Monticello-Albany 1

Palmyra-Eagle pitchers Ryan Brodzik and Alex Harbison combined to no-hit the Monticello-Albany Space Stallions in nonconference baseball on Tuesday, April 28.

Palmyra-Eagle scored runs in the second and fourth innings for a 2-0 lead. The Space Stallions got their only run in the seventh inning when Tyler Constantini walked, advanced to third on an errant pick off throw, and scored on Ty Durtschi’s RBI groundout.

The Space Stallions (1-8) were to travel to Darlington for a nonconference game on Thursday, April 30.

Wisconsin Heights 2, Belleville 1

A two-run first inning was enough for the Wisconsin Heights Vanguards to claim a 2-1 win over the Belleville Wildcats in a Capitol South baseball game on Tuesday, April 28.

Shortstop Randy Raven drove in center fielder Wesley Henry with the only run of the game for the Wildcats in the third inning.

Austin McKinley struck out 10 in 5.2 innings and allowed two runs, one earned for Belleville.

Belleville was to play Wisconsin Heights again on Thursday, April 30 at Belleville.

Barneveld 21, Argyle-Black Hawk 4

The Barneveld Golden Eagles scored in all four innings in which they batted and slugged their way to a 21-4 win over the Argyle-Black Hawk Warbirds in Six Rivers Conference baseball on Tuesday, April 28.

Barneveld scored four runs in the first, eight runs in the second, four runs in the third, and five runs in the fourth.

For Argyle-Black Hawk, Jackson Berget, Mitchell Johnson, Trent Bidlingmaier, and Braylen Schulze each scored a run and Cole Dunlavey and Braylon Bidlingmaier got the only hits for the Warbirds.

Argyle-Black Hawk (0-9, 0-7) was to host Monticello-Albany in a Six Rivers Conference game on Friday, May 1.
