Concordia University

MEQUON — Concordia University Wisconsin officials have released the Spring Honors List for the 2019-20 academic year. To be eligible for the honor, students must achieve a minimum 3.60 GPA and complete at least 12 undergraduate credits. Local students include:

UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH — Nearly 1,700 University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students graduated in May, when the 146th spring commencement ceremony was conducted in a first-ever virtual format. Local students include:

Brodhead: Courtney Heitzman, elementary education; Marion Oliver, microbiology

Brooklyn: Toni Sipla, nursing

Monroe: Haylie Olson, accounting; Joseph Peralta, history; Erin Rielly, biology; Isiah Siemers, social work

New Glarus: Jordyn Venden, international studies, European studies


Marquette University

MILWAUKEE — This past spring, Thang Lu, Monroe, graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Lu earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences.


Ripon College 

RIPON — Ripon College has announced its Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester, recognizing academic excellence. To qualify for the Dean’s List at Ripon College, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher on a 4.00 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work. Local students include:

Rockford University

ROCKFORD, Illinois — Morgan Robb, Winslow, Illinois, is announced as a spring 2020 Distinguished Scholar at Rockford University.

Students who earn at least a 3.75 GPA and having completed all requirements for the semester are named as Distinguished Scholars.
