CAMBRIDGE - Monticello junior Tyler Ritschard continued his hot scoring streak with 28 points Monday to lead the Ponies to a 69-52 win over Cambridge.
Ritschard and fellow Monticello senior Jacob Marty combined to score 48 points. Marty scored 20 points.
The Ponies built a 32-27 halftime lead.
Monticello took advantage of their quickness in getting to the basket to draw fouls. The Ponies made 18 of 26 free throws.
Senior Tyler Meier added 11 points. With the win, Monticello improves to 3-1, 2-0 Six Rivers East.
