MONROE - Five YMCA Mat Rats youth wrestlers traveled to Cedar Falls, Iowa to compete in the Cliff Keen USAW Folkstyle Nationals at the UNI-Dome March 31 through April 3.
Bodie Minder won a national championship in the 16-entrant, 190-pound schoolboy bracket.
Jack Dubach placed eighth in the 32-entrant, 80-pound novice bracket.
Other wrestlers who competed by didn't place were Christian Schuh (32-entrant, 75-pound Intermediate bracket ), Brady Schuh (32-entrant, 85-pound novice bracket) and Patrick Rielly (64-entrant, 152-pound cadet bracket).
