BRODHEAD — The Brodhead Cardinals won the Rock Division of the Rock Valley Conference All-Sports Championships. The award is based on a point system for team success throughout the school year and averaged out based on the number of sports offered.

In volleyball, Brodhead finished tied for second with a 5-5 record. In the large Rock Valley Conference cross country meet, the boys finished 8 of 11, and the girls finished 6 of 8. In football, Brodhead is a member of the SWC and finished with a 4-3 record.

In the winter sports, Brodhead boys basketball finished second with an 8-7 record. The girls basketball team was middle of the pack with a 10-5 record. In the large 11-team Rock Valley wrestling tournament, Brodhead finished 7th.

The spring was the most successful season for the Cardinals with four conference championship teams in softball (14-1), baseball (9-6), boys track and field and girls track and field. Boys golf finished 7 of 11 teams in the large Rock Valley Conference meet.
