STOUGHTON - Whether Cyclones or Magic, Monroe's Rebel Soccer squads took care of business in Stoughton recently.
Monroe's Cyclone team pulled out a 5-4 victory Saturday over the Stoughton Kickers after trailing 3-0 at the half.
McKenzy Foley had a hat trick and Adam Ninmer and Niven Tomasiewicz added goals. When the temperature dropped in the second half, the Cyclones got hot with effective passing, superior team play.
Two days earlier, the Magic U10 squad won, 3-1 over the Stoughton Starts in Monroe's season-opener Carter Sawdey answered a Stoughton goal with two consecutive goals for the Magic and was assisted by Cole Murray. Alex Tordoff fired in the Rebels' third and final goal of the game while goaltenders Hunter Weckerly, Kyle Walters and Cole Murray shut the door, allowing no second-half goals.

After going undefeated in the U12 Maysa Classic B League last season, Monroe's U12 Rebel Kickers opened this season in Classic A with a 1-0 victory over the Verona Green Sparks last Saturday.
