BURLINGTON - The Comets' celestial gas ran out Thursday night, but they didn't go out without giving a scare to top-seeeded Burlington Catholic Central. Albany rallied with a 17-10 fourth quarter, but the reigning Division 4 Clinton regional champions had too much firepower and won 57-47 behind junior Alexa Deacon's 20 points. Comets' all-time leading scorer Amy Golz had a team-high 16 points with incumbent lead Hayli Peach adding eight in the girls basketball regional semifinal loss.
