DARLINGTON - The Darlngton Redbirds remain winless in the SWAL after a 10-1 loss to the Mineral Point Pointers Tuesday.
The Pointers scored five runs in the third inning and three more in the sixth while Chelsea Bertram limited the Redbirds to one run on six hits.
Sophomore Laura Steiner gave up 10 runs on 12 hits, walked two and struck out two. The Redbirds also committed seven errors. Senior Katie Wiederholt went 2-for-3 for the Redbirds.
Darlington (3-8, 0-6 SWAL) will travel to Cuba City Friday.
